Advisory Services – Finance Transformation
In Ireland, we are expanding our Advisory practice and are seeking to recruit high achieving individuals to be part of our growing business. Currently we are recruiting business consultants at all levels for our Finance Transformation team.
Our Finance Transformation team delivers globally integrated Finance service offerings to our clients, including:
Finance Operating Model Transformation
Business Performance Management
Global Business Services
We are looking for experienced professionals who can demonstrate management of significant business transformation to work across multiple sectors and specifically those with a strong background in Finance change and transformation. We are seeking individuals with significant client-side advisory experience or individuals who have gained project and programme delivery experience within large recognised organisations.
For more senior positions, we are particularly seeking individuals who can build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities. You'll lead presentations and proposals for client projects, and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals.
Working in our Finance Transformation practice, you will:
Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants within the organisation.
Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Significant experience delivering change in a Finance function environment across any industry sector – either gained from prior experience in consulting, or delivering change transformation projects in industry. We will also consider applicants with a strong track record of delivering change/transformation projects in industry
Strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a finance, business or project related area
MBA and/or ACA/CIMA qualification an advantage
Experience delivering business change in one or more of the following areas would be expected:
Shared Services and Outsourcing programmes
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations
Programme/project management for large scale business transformation
Process improvement in a Finance settings (e.g. Order to Cash; Procure to Pay; Close to Report; Budgeting and Planning)
Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage a team of junior consulting professionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A strong work ethic
