About the role

This role is a 12 month maternity cover contract within a busy marketing team. This role will be based in Dublin but will work closely with colleagues across the six offices of the Irish firm. We are seeking a highly skilled marketer, preferably with a professional services or similar background, with a proven track record of working in a fast paced environment and a history of delivering high quality marketing activity. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and will have a high degree of autonomy in delivering marketing activity.

Strategy and tactical planning

  • Understand the business strategy, service propositions, objectives and targets

  • Execute the marketing plan aligned to the firm’s growth strategy

  • Provide marketing guidance to senior stakeholders across the business to help support revenue targets

  • Develop and manage relationships with key external membership bodies and organisations

  • Demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives

Campaign management

  • Develop a series of multi-channel campaigns, online and off-line, to increase client engagement and build market reputation in priority areas

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop local service offerings and programmes to address market needs

  • Develop a suite of client flagship events, seminars, forums and roundtables across service lines and sectors.

  • Manage relationship development programmes and targeted networks

  • Select and deploy relevant marketing activities driven by the global firm and adapt for the Irish market

  • Ensure that the website is up-to-date with relevant content relating to your campaigns

  • Work with subject-matter experts to develop Irish-specific thought leadership and publications

  • Copy write / edit materials for online and print marketing including ad campaigns, social posts and other content as required

  • Monitor and report the effectiveness and ROI of each campaign

Brand and communications

  • Understand brand and its role in effective execution of the firm’s marketing plan

  • Monitor the local marketplace and competitor positioning

  • Identify and manage strategic sponsorship opportunities

  • Ensure all brand and risk compliance policies are adhered to in all relevant outputs

  • Work with the communications team to drive key messages externally

  • Strengthen the internal brand of the marketing team through regular communications and active engagement with stakeholders

Marketing operations

  • Work within a marketing budget and negotiate costs with suppliers

  • Ensure CRM tools are updated and fully leveraged within the firm

People

  • Mentor and give direction to junior members of the marketing team

  • Provide support on performance management and development to team members

  • Build strong relationships with other functions such as BD, communications and design to share knowledge and develop best practice

Qualifications:

  • At least five years experience in a professional marketing environment
