This is an opportunity to join a mature, well-funded & impactful intelligence and analytics team in the high-margin, high-growth cybersecurity industry.The team provides intelligence and analysis on all aspects of Trend Micro’s European business, drives conversations and ultimately makes recommendations for change. Due to growth, we have an opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst with strong Tableau skills to join the team: a balanced mix of BI technical leads, data scientists and intelligence analysts. Reporting into the Senior Manager of Intelligence & Analytics, you will be responsible for the design, production and promotion of Business Intelligence outputs.

This role is ideal for candidates who are extremely curious, data/information hungry, excellent storytellers and highly self-driven.

You will be based in our European Operations Centre in Cork City, Ireland.

  • Own the design, production and promotion of Tableau dashboards for teams in Europe.

  • Analyze data sets to deliver new insights into our business

  • Respond to ad hoc insight requests from business stakeholders

  • Promote your insights and findings to stakeholders

  • Perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, results-based environment.

  • Act as an advisor on projects so that when new finance systems & processes come online they are “BI ready” and can be easily integrated into our data-warehouse

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships across multiple business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, Customer Success, Finance & Information Services teams.

  • Professional qualifications will be a distinct advantage (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

  • Candidates will be fluent in English.

  • Candidates will have a good standard of education with a degree in the related field (e.g. Business / Finance / Design / Research / Technology) or equivalent experience.

  • Tableau Certification is beneficial

  • Professional experience in finance, accounting, design, research or planning

  • You can demonstrate a significant level of experience in the design, production and promotion of business intelligence in current and previous roles in a similar environment of scope and complexity.

  • You are a Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability and motivation to get things done

  • You have a Logical brain with a natural curiosity to get to the bottom of how things work and how they could be improved.

  • You have a passion for data visualization. You would love to show us some of your most powerful data visualizations at interview stage.

  • You have top-tier Tableau In fact, you love using Tableau (If you have used to Qlik, Spotfire or other output platforms then we still interested in talking to you)

  • You are comfortable in engaging with using Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSRS, SSIS & MDS (you will have the support of BI technical leads on the team – however you must have a degree of understanding of these technologies)

  • Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) approaches is beneficial.

  • You have a proven ability to work with data-sources that span across all aspects of business to derive insight and analysis and present it to business people in a highly visual format

  • You take pride when you see your insights being actively used to transform how business is done,

  • You are team player and enjoy interacting with people at all levels from interns to executives.

  • You can simplify complex things and tell them through stories so people understand and remember.

  • You are ambitious and have demonstrated high potential. Eager to learn and self-develop. We’re interested in hearing about some new knowledge you acquired over the last year.
