GBO Associate Maintenance Operations Analyst

This position requires the candidate to speak fluent English and an additional European language, preferably German.

The Maintenance Operations team are a multi-cultural, diverse service team, with customer focus, dedication, agility and expertise in the field of revenue recognition & order entry. The team is an integral cog in EMC’s Order-to-Cash cycle with extensive knowledge in the processes & systems, relentlessly focusing on execution, quality and efficiencies

  • Review, Approve & Book renewal service maintenance contracts for EMC’s global, commercial, enterprise & partner accounts

  • Provide Sales Support, Contract Management, systems and reporting services in support of the lifecycle management of EMC’s maintenance business

  • Ensuring EMC & SEC Guidelines for Revenue Recognition are complete and are Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliant.

  • Power users on EMC Revenue Systems for International Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Global Services, etc.

  • Working with multiple departments to resolve complex issues.

  • Act as intermediary between EMC USA and International Subsidiaries.

· Administration of global business practices; liaise with our partners & customers in RRS, GRA, GBS, Governance, PSC, Sales & the wider EMC Community.

  • Integration of EMC Acquisitions into EMC’s global Quote-To-Cash Process.


· Responsible for reviewing & managing all maintenance orders within EMEA for completeness and accuracy.

· Collaborating on complex customers issues

  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the OKS Database. Manages contracts activity for renewal, installation, upgrades and de-installation. Modifies contract information as required.

  • Develops and maintains contracts for assigned accounts according to established procedures and meets defined Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

  • Provides superior customer service to the Renewals Sales Teams.

  • Adheres to procedures and guidelines of quote creation and ensures consistency and best practices are followed. Additionally, uses judgment within defined practices and procedures.

  • Resolves order discrepancies and contract billing issues through interface with Customers, Sales, Global Revenue Operations, Install Base, Finance or Senior Management.

  • Translation support, both written & verbal
