Job Description:

Job Title: Financial Analyst – Financial Planning Analysis ( FP&A) Finance Team

This role forms part of the Global FP&A team working within the International Facilities Finance team. The team is responsible for controlling facilities finances for operational expense and capital projects throughout Dell for legacy EMC locations. The team manages the annual planning, monthly reforecast, functional financial close review, conducts variance analysis and federation allocations. The team provides business critical information to enable strategic decision making.

Roles and Responsibilities

The person will work as part of the team and have international responsibilities including:

  • FP&A, budget preparation and maintenance of a rolling forecast

  • Accounting to include journal preparation, capital reconciliations, forecast and month end analytical review to include expense bridge analysis

  • Implementation of the facilities financial allocation models

  • Preparation of presentations to senior management

  • Financial support to the International Real Estate & Facilities operational teams

  • Participates in ongoing initiatives to implement policies for improving processes and efficiencies within the function

  • Assist in resolving escalated AP queries

  • Finance approver for purchase requisitions and project systems appropriation request

Qualifications/Work Experience

  • Qualified Accountant with 2 years practical and analytical experience

  • The chosen candidate would be comfortable with both process driven tasks and a dynamic work environment

  • Multinational Experience would be an advantage, as would reforecast and month end close experience and knowledge of corporate facility allocations models

  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP, EPM preferable) and MS Office is an advantage
