Reporting to the Head of Accounting at EMEA headquarters in Cherywood, Dublin, this role will be an integral part of the Accounting team on a day to day basis and will be expected to leverage from and work with other key Dell sites such as Austin, Texas, Bratislava, Slovakia and Bucharest, Romania. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the IFRS statutory books in an efficient manner with a timely and transparent close process, and assist in the management of the interim and final external audit.
Production of the Annual Financial Statements
Ensure that reconciliations are completed in line with internal reconciliations policy
Co-ordinate KPI process and outsourced SLA process
Provide support to the Regulatory Reporting team
Manage the monthly intercompany re-charge and settlement process
Manage the reconciliation of Primary (US GAAP) v Statutory (IFRS) books
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
Strong financial and business acumen
Competent in analysis, interpretation and evaluation of financial data
Strong analytical skills
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
