This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm) The Associate Director of Network Analytics & Reporting drives business performance using quantitative data analytics and methodologies to identify key drivers of network financial performance and provide insights to pricing and network relationship teams. Primary Responsibilities: Identify current and future trends in pharmacy network financial performance using statistical analysis, analytic modeling, and data visualization techniques Forecast / project financial performance of price lists interpreting complex data sets and aggregated performance information, identifying primary contributing factors to network performance Provide insights to network relationship and pricing management teams regarding influenceable and non-influenceable factors of pharmacy network performance Lead development of new tools, applications that will advance abilities to drive intelligent pricing strategies and deploy pricing strategies rapidly Recommend translation of network analytics and insights to production-ready applications Leverage best - in - class data visualization and analytic tools to elucidate pricing opportunities and develop insight-focused dashboards Promote best practice standards (e.g., pricing, methodology, tools, technologies, etc.) to applicable stakeholders (e.g., within Network Pricing team, within Network Management; peers; markets; regions) Work directly with internal business partners at the senior leadership level to develop, implement and monitor strategies to maximize the accuracy and completeness of OptumRx analytic operations for our customers and pharmacies Engage with internal partners to explain financial analysis, reconcile models, and/or participate in negotiation with key business partners Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet business timelines Direct others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functional areas Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics Professional experience Experience in analytic, data management, or business intelligence capacity Expert - level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau Demonstrated ability to work well and collaboratively, with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information Understanding of financial modeling analytics Understanding of transaction pricing and financial performance Understanding of familiarity with operational analytics Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in relevant field of study (ex.

accounting, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, economics) Healthcare business experience Financial performance analytics experience People management experience Careers with Optum.
