looking for a Business Development Consultant – Outbound to join our Dublin office!
As a Business Development Consultant – Outbound with
Oracle, you will be part of the world's most complete, open and integrated
business software and hardware Systems Company leading the digital
You will be responsible for building pipeline and
identifying opportunities in key business accounts, understanding their
business needs and challenges with a view to generating demand for Oracle’s
product offering. This will be through a variety of channels such as social
media, internet & web based tools. You will speak to key decision makers
within key business accounts on a daily basis.
Demand generation for OracleProducts.
Generating demand from outboundprospecting as a result of sales initiatives, sales programs campaigns & partnercampaigns.
Analysing customer needs in terms ofcurrent business obstacles, identifying projects and scoping potential Oraclesolutions.
Using a variety of tools includingbut not limited to social media, internet, web based tools & outboundcalling.
Identify new business opportunitiesfor Oracle’s product offering through engagement with multiple levels of theclient organisation and proactively endorsing Oracle’s solution relevant totheir business challenges.
Creating a business pipeline meeting anagreed quota of business opportunities. Opportunity creation shouldconsistently meet or exceed target.
Contributing individually to the teamtargets, achieving a high level of client satisfaction and quality leadgeneration.
Achieving a high level ofcollaboration with in-country Marketing and Sales teams by developing anddelivering against the joint strategy with the field representatives. InsideSales representatives and partners.
TheBusiness Development Consultant – Outbound will be an integral member of theDigital Demand Group Team and the ideal candidate will have:
Proven track record in identifyingbusiness and generating new business leads via the Internet, Telephone orSocial media.
Experience prospecting needs analysisand negotiation in the Business-to-Business sector would be an advantage alongwith the ability to work to and overachieve on targets.
Proven ability to work remotely withclients.
A strong interest in technology,passion for sales and strong communication skills.
Strong business acumen andorganizational process knowledge.
Understanding of the use andapplication of IT systems in a Business environment
A strong desire to progress in asales career.
Strong organizational and planningskills.
Experience of using social mediatools.
A top degree in Business or ITrelated disciplines from a reputable university.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
Knowledge of Oracle products orprevious experience in the IT industry will be useful though not essential.
High level of energy, drive,enthusiasm, commitment, self-belief and achievement-orientation.
Self- motivated to continuouslyexpand personal and professional knowledge.
The ability to work with a dynamicand multinational team in addition to the ability to work alone at times.

First contact for prospects of Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force.
Acts as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
0-2 years related experience. Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, and knowledge of Oracle products and services. Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products a plus but not necessary. Professional demeanor. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.
