Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will provide daily support and guidance to staff within their designated section and will work closely with other Team Members and the Section Manager of the group to address operational issues and work on other Strategic Initiatives.

The candidate will have a good understanding of Global Equity and Fixed Income markets, and an in-depth knowledge Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Action Events.

Job Background/Context :

Custody and Issuer Operations Dublin comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Agency Securities Lending and Issuer businesses.

Dublin Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing a range of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will be required to be a key member of the Corporate Actions team and act as a subject matter expert for a range Corporate Actions event types, as well as provide daily support and guidance to staff within their designated section

Key Responsibilities:

•Exceptions management – ensuring all breaks assigned to the team are cleared in line with specified thresholds.

•Ensuring all service deliverables are achieved and all control function requirements are completed on a daily basis.

•Responsible for ensuring all your team’s events are processed accurately within the event timelines.

•Escalate processing errors and potential risks to line manager upon discovery.

•Acting as an intermediary and escalation point between processing staff and Section Manager.

•Focusing on versatility, performance and development of processing staff within the team.

•Collate stats and attend weekly meeting with Manager to discuss previous week highlights, and forward planning for team.

•Identifying areas of risk and implementing further Controls where necessary.

•Coordinate, test and review Manager’s Control Assessment, Flow Charts and Procedures for the team.

•Verification of teams work, and release of instructions to the Market.

•Prepare and complete User Acceptance Testing on enhancements to systems and also regression testing.

•Prepare relevant test scripts and participate in Contingency testing.

•Assist in and lead adhoc projects on behalf of the team.

•Ensure all Quality Control reporting is completed within the required timeframes.

•Analyse market changes and implement into current process where required

•Complete a Causal Code analysis and implement the required CAP. Ensure CAP is communicated across the Department

•Participate in and host team Huddles.

•Technical understanding of corporate actions.

•1-2 years experience supervising a team preferably within corporate actions.

•Exposure to ICSD’s, Crest, Euronext, Sweden, Germanic, Spain and Global markets.
