LinkedIn has a fantastic opportunity for a highly ambitious and motivated EMEA Payroll Specialist to join our Dublin based team for a fixed term 11 month contract basis.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced payroll professional to be our FTC EMEA Payroll Specialist. In this role, the right candidate will provide exceptional support to our EMEA employees and key stakeholder groups by ensuring all employees are paid accurately, on time and compliantly.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outsourced payroll providers in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll

  • Review preliminary payroll calculations from payroll vendors and advise of any amendments required

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in line with statutory requirements

  • Prepare payroll payments & ensure payroll funding is in place

  • Review and complete tax and other statutory payroll filings in partnership with external providers

  • Research and resolve payroll related queries from employees and key stakeholders

  • Process expat payroll, hypo-tax withholding and shadow payrolls

  • Process off-cycle payroll transactions as required

  • Compile key operational payroll metrics & dashboards

  • Ensure all payroll processes are documented and reviewed continually in line with SOX requirements

  • Resolve other tasks and queries on ad hoc basis

  • Ensure up to date payroll regulatory compliance legislation is adhered to, throughout the EMEA region

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+yrs experience of regional payroll processing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented, reliable, pragmatic and proactive

  • Excellent communication, analytical and highly organized

  • Focused, disciplined and ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight timelines

  • Fluency in English, fluency in a second language preferable

  • A strong bias towards providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Aptitude for problem-solving

  • Experience in Expat payroll desirable
