SAS set up an EMEA Inside Sales centre in Dublin in 2015 & plans to create 150 jobs in Ireland over the next three years, with an investment of €40m. The new centre support sales of data analytics software across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Role Purpose - Enterprise Sales Netherlands

Responsible for selling SAS’s products to current and prospective customers, as part of the company’s low cost of sales channel. Works collaboratively with the field sales organizations to position and leverage sales opportunities in order to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on incremental sales of SAS products to current and prospective customers while supporting field sales on complex, enterprise-wide solutions.

  • Participates in the development/execution of strategic territory and account plans for The Netherlands market.

  • Implements all aspects of territory and account management applicable revenue targets.

  • Fulfils a wide range of requests for information from current and prospective customers; qualifies level of opportunity and appropriate sales channel required.

  • Generates incremental revenue through prospecting, cold-calling, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or account.

  • Identifies accounts with high “close” potential, qualifies opportunities thoroughly, and accurately forecasts timeframes to close business.

  • Follows up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to uncover additional opportunities.

  • Establishes relationships with varying levels of buyers within current and prospective accounts to determine training needs and advises them on appropriate solutions’ works with training staff to implement proposed solutions.

  • Prepares standard quotations and proposal information as needed; works with other SAS departments to create and finalize contracts and sales fulfilment requirements e.g. sells support documentation and services that compliments existing software license.

  • Keeps abreast of terminologies, basic software applications, operating systems, and hardware requirements. Keeps track of product availability.

  • Works with account executives as needed to respond to prospects, leads and existing customers.

  • Develops an understanding of company pricing, policies and licensing procedures.

  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

  • Focus on incremental sales for SAS products to current and prospective customers while supporting field sales on complex, enterprise-wide solutions

  • Work with key Account Managers, internal Executives

  • Prospecting business to expand SAS footprint in key accounts

  • Interact with Senior C level contacts in key accounts. Participate in the development/execution of strategic territory and account plans

  • Implement all aspects of territory and account management revenue targets

  • Partner with a variety of internal team members to strategize account closing plans

  • Focus on territory planning & managing prospects & clients in various stages of sales

Education & Experience

+ + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years in Field/Enterprise or Telesales with deal closure experience within software or a related industry

  • Demonstrates good judgement in analysing information & making appropriate decisions

  • Enjoys the challenge of achieving monthly & quarterly revenue targets
