Internal Communications Specialist(Internship)
reports to the Head of EMEA Business Development Group. You will play an
important role developing and implementing engaging content – both print and
online – to inform and engage EMEA colleagues about company news, products,
policies and strategic priorities. The role requires a communication
professional who can demonstrate experience of working with a variety of teams
and functions to analyse communications needs and develop content and plans to
Providewriting, editing and content management support for EMEA Business DevelopmentGroup.
Produceand administer weekly all staff newsletter including sourcing writing, editing,gaining approvals and then distributing/publishing.
Supporta variety of Internal Communications-related tools and processes, All Staffemails, Newsletter, Intranet, Social Media platform, Digital Screens, on demandVideo Channel, so they are up to date and relevant.
Toprovide assistance to develop content and materials for the Quarterly All HandsMeeting. Support the ongoing expansion and enhancement of the existingcommunications vehicles – especially in digital/new media - to more effectivelyreach employees across the organisation and build a more informed and engagedemployee population.
Collaboratewith teams and functions to develop content and plans to help them reach theiremployees and communicate their news and priorities across EMEA
Collaboratewith external agency partners where needed to help communicate news andpriorities as effectively as possible.
Coordinateand administer the Communications calendar.
Conduct surveys and local focusgroups, to assess employee communication needs and help develop plans andstrategies based on results.
Experience in communications,journalism, or related function with a concentration on internal Communications.
University degree desired experiencein an internal communications role.
Very strong writing and editingbackground with superb attention to detail.
Experience of working on largecompany wide events.
Strong IT skills including basicHTML, Photoshop, video creation packages and survey tools
Corporate/organisationalcommunications or agency experience preferred, including experience developingcommunications plans and strategies.
Ability to work with a variety ofteams and functions to analyse communications needs and develop plans todeliver results.
Ability to think strategically andcreatively.
Experience communicating online andthrough social media
