Key Responsibilities:

Perform technical feasibility analysis for the change requests using in depth functional understanding of the application, strong technical knowhow. Ensure realistic assessment of complexity.

Design, development, testing and implementation of software solutions designed for web applications.

Scope for influencing design and architecture.

Liaise with multiple distributed technology teams, operations and product contacts of varying degrees of seniority to facilitate project delivery.

Providing second line production support including root cause analysis for the developed software solutions.

Mentor junior team members in development practices and technologies.



• Minimum 12 years of development experience including minimum 3 years on applications related to content analytics/search, NLP and AI.

• Working in a JAVA/J2EE based enterprise applications

• Experience of developing applications that analyse document content is desirable.

• Excellent team work, verbal and communication skills

• Knowledge of developing client facing applications with strong understanding of user experience.


Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, JavaScript

IBM Watson or similar AI application experience is desirable

Experience with test driven development methodology is desirable.

Experience with building scalable applications in SOA environment.

Strong experience in database design, data modelling and knowledge of SQL and PL-SQL

Unit Testing Framework like JUnit.

Strong experience of Web Services JAX-WS(SOAP)/REST.

Knowledge of Oracle, IBM Watson, WebSphere, Jenkins. Familiarity with AIX and Linux operating systems.

Highly experienced at developing large enterprise level application services.
