THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Logistics Specialist position is a fast-paced, flexible and multi-faceted role. The individual will mainly be responsible for development of our shipping capabilities both nationally and internationally. On a day-to-day basis, the exact remit may change quite a bit depending on the needs of the business but its core will always be grounded in fulfilment and support of ticket transactions in our marketplace.

Due to the nature of the industry and the inherent value attached to each ticket, there is a critical need to have a high attention to detail not only when handling tickets but also when using the various systems to enable events, track sales and support our business partners. In addition, the Field Operations Team is the only team to interact with our customers on a daily, face-to-face basis and thus requires a deep commitment to excellent customer service, professionalism and a positive and engaging attitude.

LOCATION: Blanchardstown, Dublin

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and support the delivery of tickets to as close to event time as possible.

  • Work with other areas of business to ensure all fulfilment related issues are resolved.

  • Support the company’s various business partners as needed with fulfilment.

  • Work with the Seller Support team in order to facilitate the seller community, gain relevant feedback and provide superior service for Last Minute Sales.

  • Build and test the necessary fulfilment logistics for events as needed.

  • Work directly with the various fulfilment providers in order to ensure an excellent customer experience.

  • Assist as necessary, in the planning and execution of remote events.

  • Maintain the highest standard of professionalism and properly represent the brand.

  • Work to achieve the primary goals of overall operational excellence, individual job satisfaction and career advancement

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • This position would suit a candidate with experience within technical customer service which involved daily trouble-shooting. FMCG and ecommerce background preferred.

  • Works with a strong attention-to-detail and is highly self-motivated.

  • Has the capacity to innovate and problem solve on-the-go.

  • Proven track record of learning and mastering new systems/tools.

  • Works to continuously improve and standardize processes.

  • Comfortable working in and helping define ambiguous situations.

  • Self-starter but also a team player when needed.

  • Willing to work non-traditional hours (i.e. evenings, weekends, holidays) from time to time.

  • Able to travel throughout U.K. and the E.U. as required.
