SAS EMEA centre in Dublin is expanding again due to it's tremendous sucess. As part of it's contineous growth we are looking to hire an Inside Sales Manager to support a team of Inside Sales Representatives. We wish to recruit an experienced Sales Manager with fluency in either Spanish, Italian, Dutch & ideally with Middle East/ Africa experience. (Fluent English essential). The emerging markets is our next planned phase of development. The succesful candidate must have a minimum 5+years people managment experience with ability to demonstate the real 'value add' they have brought to their team & organisation. We are looking to hire an energetic, people leader who can motivate, inspire & drive maximum revenue results. We are looking for a Manager who enjoys & enables their team to top performance. The representatives will be selling into specific verticals within EMEA & supporting sales teams within each country. This is a new postion & offers the right candidate fantastic career development. Position reports to the EMEA Director.

We are interested in talking to people who have the following skills:

  • Experienced Sales Managers, 5+years fluent in Spanish, Dutch, Italian or Middle East/Africa background. ( with fluency in English)

  • Previous experience of managing multi-lingual insides sales teams with remit across multiple territories, including managing through Managers.

  • Experience in dealing with County Sales & Marketing Managers with regards to reporting, setting targets, sales & marketing activities, etc.

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop motivate & retain a professional high performing sales team to achieve target

Achieve defined sales team financial objectives relating to Total Software Revenue (TSR) and Lead generation pipeline, services revenue and margin, overall profitability and ‘good businesses as defined in the Corporate Plan.

Achieve defined sales team, customer, learning and growth, and internal process objectives as required by SAS corporate plan.

Ensure that the SAS core values and established best practice adopted

Create, review, maintain and implement an integrated territory plan for each sales person that is aligned to the sales plan within each country.

Ensure team keep all sales systems accurate and updated regularly

Ensure all sales staff within the Sales Team are able to achieve the highest professional standards in the following key aspects of the sales cycle; planning, prospecting, need development and vision processing, qualification, control, closing, negotiating, reference development.

In conjunction with Country Sales and Marketing Managers, supplement central SAS marketing activities with targeted marketing programmes which help to build pipeline and ensure consistent messaging and awareness of the key SAS Industry solutions.

Develop and maintain the sector pipeline above agreed minimum by setting standards and overseeing lead generation and prospecting.

Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasting

Monitor and report monthly to the Sales Director on Sector and individual sales pipeline in accordance with adopted Solution Selling practices.

Recruitment:

  • Recruit, organise, develop, motivate & retain , a professional sales team

Development:

  • Provide learning opportunities

  • Encourage training and development

  • Provide feedback, coaching, support and advice, particularly in the supported sales methodologies i.e. Solution Selling, TAS, Value Creation

  • Manage performance through appropriate reviews

  • Monitor and manage activity levels

  • Ensure new staff can become productive rapidly

Motivation:

  • Establish & support motivational needs of individuals, lead by example.

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field

Experience:

  • 5-6 years people management experience in a sales environment. Ideally with team size of 7/10 as minimum.

  • Experience in technical sales, marketing, data processing and technology. Background in analytics preferred.

  • Strong successful business leader with proven ability to influence & impact the business
