People make Dell – so wherever in the world they work, everyone is rewarded for their contribution. Ready to develop your career in a truly global company? Within the OEM Solutions organization, we are looking for an OEM Services Project Manager to join our team in EMEA.

In this role, you will focus on Partner Management, OEM HW Service Readiness Enablement and Service Escalation Management. As Dell’s OEM Solutions market grows and becomes increasingly competitive, Service Readiness and Partner Management /Enablement will be instrumental in driving significant Service margin expansion. This is a high visibility role where your output will impact Dell OEM Solution’s market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the OEM Service Operations team, you will work directly with and manage select third party vendors, PG Engineering, Sales, Marketing, End Customers and other stakeholders, internal and external to Dell, to execute successful Service and Support programs and strategies. The ideal candidate is an exceptional Project Manager with Service and HW experience, and a proven track record of managing partners through the complete project life cycle. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Global Partner management in support of OEM reseller/partners supporting their solutions

  • Standard product deployments, application and image management, custom factory installation

  • Global break/fix service and support capabilities and limitations by region

  • Resolution assistance of systemic Service issues

  • Escalation point for customers and account teams on service issues

  • Briefing center presentations or customer meeting to present Dell’s Global Support capabilities

  • Expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, and support plans for custom sales opportunities

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience managing concurrent and complex projects with multiple partners and stakeholders

  • Recognition as a strong Services SME, with detailed knowledge of Services industry and competitive landscape

  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic, challenging environment

  • Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and creative ability

  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written, advanced English language skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or multiple years of relevant experience is required BS degree from top university; business, computer science or engineering preferred

Desirable Requirements:

  • Understanding of customer engagement and vendor models and presales process

  • Ability to match service offerings to vendor capability

  • Contract creation and management experience

  • Passion for taking on an ambiguous situation and coming out with process & financial wins for the organization
