Description

Work in conjunction with CASS O and T Business Managers to ensure that CASS policies and standards are understood across O and T and adequate processes and procedures in place to demonstrate CASS compliance

• Support weekly CASS meetings with relevant functions/business providing relevant information on CASS matters and act as central point for O and T escalating issues as appropriate to the O and T committee

• Participate as a stakeholder for CASS change projects where appropriate, escalating concerns or issues with successful delivery

• Assist with the effective implementation of new CASS policies, standards, procedures and practices by working with relevant Operational team to ensure awareness and front to back operational process is agreed and in place

• Escalate incidents where there is under-performance against agreed policies, standards and guidance by any teams

• Partner with O and T teams to proactively identify and measure CASS risks ensuring issues are adequately recorded, risk is mitigated and evidenced via CAPs and tracked to closure

• Assist in the performance of CASS process reviews for areas identified as concern / risk

• Produce functional/business line MI to monitor CASS issues, events and near-misses and ensure that issues are transparent and captured timely

• Support the Chair of CASS governance review meetings providing relevant information, documenting minutes of meetings and tracking actions to closure

• Development and enhance MI that provides oversight and transparency of CASS related matters

• Produce supporting documentation for CASS committees and governance forums

• Support the development of a CASS accountability matrix for key individuals involved in CASS processes identifying key personnel and understanding the CASS roles that they perform. Assist in identifying of O and T CASS training requirements. Facilitate training sessions preparing documentation, scheduling meetings and maintaining Training tracker

Qualifications

• Strong CASS background covering all elements of CASS

• Ability to build productive working relationship across Operations, Business, CAOO, Compliance and Audit (internal and external)

• Ability to interpret issues raised by individual entities and promptly and succinctly summarise the key issues to management and other stakeholders

• Proven experience developing creative solutions to problems

• Ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard whilst under pressure.

• Team player who works well with colleagues of all levels in achieving value added results

• Strong people management skills

• The ideal candidate should have extensive years banking experience
