Be the first point of contact for Product expertise - understand all the functions, solutions, strengths & weaknesses of their product. The SPM will represent the Product as Subject Matter Expert. They will be the point of liaison to third parties for knowledge development. The SPM should also know and understand what competitors are doing in the space – i.e. SWOT analysis and should assign a percentage of time to reflect on market trends to identify opportunities for their Product(s).

Job Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager is responsible for driving moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects. Accountable for delivering medium to large projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This individual will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure. The Project Manager exemplifies strong initiative and management skills. 1. Insures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving: • Project Schedule • Risk and Issue Management • Scope Change Management 2. Manages the project budget. This includes understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively. 3. Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal. 4. Facilitates/manages project communications and stakeholder, client and project team expectations.

  • The SPM should be on hand to develop, from idea to implementation, new products and services including acting as the SME on the initial project scoping team. The SPM should also develop partnerships with suppliers occupying the same verticals so as to develop new sales opportunities. These should be developed with Sales as key stakeholders in ROI and Channel as key stakeholders in UK & Abroad.

Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, plus 4-6 years progressive management experience, including medium to large scale projects. PMP preferred. The AIB Merchant Services Project Manager will be responsible for delivering moderately complex projects. This individual may work on multiple projects while also assisting on other project work streams. The project manager will be responsible for Business Change, Project Planning, Project Execution and Project Closure within the business as well as measurement of return on investment.
