Job Description

Thought leader for Privacy within Enterprise Services

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

•Leading Consumer Protection-focused SME thought leadership, specifically focused on Privacy regulation, to support process development, including new regulation implementation as well as strategic initiatives

• Developing relationship with stakeholders (internal to ESERV and external to partner groups); enabling the management of expectations; effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders; active listening

•Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions; writes and speaks professionally and adapts communication style to suit the audience

• Works cross functionally in gathering and co-coordinating knowledge as a key input to improving the customer experience

•Generates insights within their work with minimal direction

•Effective management skills - project review and planning, risk management, scheduling, progress tracking and budgeting

•Owns content, direction, and quality control of deliverables

•Persistently manages issues effectively; deals with challenges constructively and positively; maintains productivity and high performance levels under pressure.

•Executes tasks with clear but minimal direction


BS/BA degree in related field required

8+ years’ experience within PayPal Operations or a financial services institution

Knowledge of and experience applying regulations to Operational processes preferred, especially in the area of Privacy

Comfortable with innovative problem solving and process improvement and development. Able to interface, negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.

Excellent attention to detail and timely execution working with various stakeholders.

Uses skills as an experienced professional with a solid understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. Exercises discretion in resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or process requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Ability to decipher best path to take considering all factors, and able to defend and implement that path.
