Safety within Community Operations' focus is on understanding the high intensity issues, build scalable solutions, and work on continuously improving the health of our flows while mitigating risk for the community and business. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms and self starters who are curious and proven team players. This is a full time position, based in our Dublin, Ireland office.
Analyze data to identify trends and malicious behaviour, identify user trends, and work cross-functionally on solutions
Help create policies and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems and ensure the safety of the community
Apply your expertise in quantitative business analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to identify trends and opportunities in driving down potentially abusive content or real-world threats
Manage day-to-day Safety operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
Use signals and insights to develop ideas for scalable solutions to support the safety of our users
Develop a deep understanding of Safety issues and how it affects our community
Participate in on-call emergency escalation rotation as well as after-hours and weekend duty.
Bachelors degree focusing on data analysis or quantitative disciplines such as math, statistics, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
3+ years of work experience in role involving strategic/analytical initiative's (project management, consulting experience, data analysis or technical systems)
3+ years of work experience with data sets and knowledge of relational databases
Experience of working with SQL
Experience of working with scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Perl, Unix Shell Scripting etc
Self-starting, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in ambiguity
Demonstrated problem-solving approach and analytical skills
Ability to communicate the results of analysis and insights to cross functional teams, to influence the strategy of those teams.
Fluency in another language.
