We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to work on a range of large key projects.
This is a challenging role within a fast growing environment where the candidate will be required to project lead multiple work streams involving the full System Development Life Cycle for a large global business. The role will allow the candidate to develop their communication and project-management skills in addition to remaining at the forefront of business and technical change in Citi’s Securities Services business.
We are recruiting a Project Manager to provide workflow and people management skills for our professional software development teams. This will require a close working relationship with the subject matter experts, applications developers, business analysts and our users within our Operations and Product divisions. Project Manage all aspects of a Software development project through the SDLC Citi’s Markets and Securities Services Technology division in Dublin undertakes systems development (analysis and programming) and systems support for a large number of corporate clients across Europe, USA and around the globe.
You will join one of our existing and growing development teams at our offices in Dublin and are interested in hearing from people with hands-on experience in the Custody and Asset Servicing business. Experience of Software Development methodologies and delivery both as a Technician and a Project Manager is essential."
Project manage all assigned engagements and projects as per the SDLC and CITMP standards of Compliance.
Track and monitor project activities against agreed business dates and against agreed technology release dates.
Identify, track, document and own issues and risks.
Ensure project plans are created and maintained.
Act as the point-person to lead and manage a development team of up to 10 people.
Provide analytical, technical, business and/or management expertise to the group.
Provide leadership to one or more development projects, documenting and managing workflows, priorities, and deliverables. The size, scope, complexity and technical challenge may vary widely from project to project.
Provide ongoing feedback, direction and performance management to the development team.
Build close working relationships with our business partners and users.
Supervise team members in numerous time zones including USA, India and EMEA regions.
Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge of Custody, Clearing and Asset Servicing essential.
Custody Swift Messaging Formats (Settlements and Corporate Actions)
Good working knowledge of the EMEA Custody Markets.
Structured Development Lifecycle e.g. PMP preferred.
Workflow management and quality control.
Estimation and prioritisation of work packages.
Performance management of staff.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Technical Expertise in C, Oracle, Unix, VB.Net"
