Microsoft Corporation Structured Finance Manager in Dublin, Ireland

Structured Finance team is part of Worldwide Payment Solutions team in Microsoft. Our mission is to enable incremental Sales, mitigate customer credit risk and drive working capital enhancements especially in emerging markets. We also strive to enable sales through channel partners and distributors by structuring bank financing solutions that provide access to capital.

This team works in partnership with Microsoft Credit Services, Legal, Tax, Corporate Accounting and several other teams. A successful candidate will be a team player and demonstrate a growth mindset.

This role reports to the Director of Structured Finance based in Espoo, Finland. This a forward deployed team and your team mates are located in Beijing, Dubai and Redmond. Flexibility in terms of hours to accommodate teams and customers is critical.

Primary responsibilities include:

•Partnering with credit and sales teams to understand the business needs for structured finance solutions

•Each case requires a unique solution so you will be challenged to think creatively about addressing business needs

•Provide leadership to drive projects to successful completing; develop project plans and effectively manage collaboration and deliverables from various teams

•Develop relationships with banks to design and deliver solutions; negotiate documents and all aspects of the transaction to maximize ROI

•Drive post Go Live activities in cooperation with Microsoft Credit Services, operations and other partners to ensure smooth funding, recording of transactions and reporting

•Support effective process documentation and rhythm of business activities

•Adhoc projects as requested by the Manager

Qualifications required:

•Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a bank, or large multinational corporate. Experience on customer/structured financing highly valued.

•Minimum BA/BS degree with in economics, finance or accounting

•Learner mindset. Be curious and continuously seek to learn and develop

•Strong partnering skills since virtually every deliverable will require you to work with several internal and external stakeholders and experts

•Knowledge on Microsoft business and sales / credit operations is a big plus

•Strong ability to build processes, design & run ROB, and reporting systems

•Strong leadership skills - ability to set vision and direction and bring together diverse teams to drive business impact

•Ability to influence without authority and hold others accountable

•Open to diverse ideas and ability to drive towards best results

•Strong project management skills

•Comfort with ambiguity and ability to function well in high stress environment with multiple competing deliverable with tight timelines

•Strong capability and comfort in working as part of a team; less focus on I and more on we

•Ability to work across various levels in the organization – from mentoring and developing junior talent to comfort in presenting to CVPs
