Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the Data Protection Solutions team, you will have a main responsibility for selling technical solutions, products, and /or services aligned to to a wide range of customer needs

  • Supporting Dell EMC Commercial TSRs on configuring DPS solutions

  • Maintaining productive relationships with Dell EMC Commercial ISRs and TSRs in your territory

  • Developing and delivering training content to ISRs & TSRs on DPS portfolio

  • Responds to field sales, resellers and end customer inquiries.

  • Able to explain technical, industry, and market facts to position Dell Data Protection portfolio against a competitive solution.

  • Drive DPS technical sales within the teams and/or territories you are assigned and make sure DPS offer is proposed to each customer every day

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of data center specific technical sales experience as a specialist inside or field

  • General understanding of backup software architectures

  • Ability and willingness to maintain specific product expertise

  • High technical sales activity and proven experience of messaging skills to other technical teams

  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment

  • Fluency in English

Desirable Requirements

  • Technical understand of key data center components (Compute, Network, Storage)

  • Foundation in virtualization preferably VMWare and Hyper V

  • Experience selling competitive software products i.e. Appassure, Commvault, Veritas, Veeam

  • Understanding of the Dell inside selling motion both direct and channel

  • Deep relationships with account managers and technical sales reps in local Dell call centers
