Position : Consumer Sales Representative (Connaught & Ulster part)

REPORTING TO : GROCERY CHANNEL MANAGER

We have an exciting new role that has just come available in our Consumer division in Ireland. In this role you will lead your territory and be part of a team that supports the consumer division in Ireland.

Key Result Areas (KRA’s)

This is a Sligo/Longford or Roscommon based position where the you will be responsible for a wide portfolio of premium skin and health care brands in the grocery market.

  • Direct Grocery Sales calls: you will complete weekly sales call to complete stock and order and negotiate with Store Managers / Buyers to agree orders and achieve set targets. You will ensure product space, positioning and promotions are well executed. You will achieve NPI distribution targets and carefully handle the merchandising budget.

  • Direct sales calls wholesale food, cash & carry and independent customers – monthly sales calls to a variety of customers and achieving sales targets.

  • Central Distribution Grocery accounts – ensure head office agreed activity on NPI and promotions are precisely executed at a local level. Minimise Out of Stocks and Off-Sales by negotiating with local buyers/stock managers. Sell-in additional promotional units at a local level

Qualifications

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Third level qualification in marketing or business

  • Strong strategic, analytical, creative and commercial skills

  • A standout colleague who can also work on his/her own initiative, together with plenty of drive and ambition

  • Ability to adapt and work in diverse and dynamic sector selling a wide variety of top performing brands

  • Ambition and skill-set to proceed to roles of increased responsibility within the Organisation. This will involve relocation to Dublin
