Job Purpose:

This is a Senior Securities Processing role team lead role within the Transfer Agency at senior processor level reporting to the Assistant Manager of the TA Oversight team.The candidate will be responsible for a team of up to 8 administrators and the oversight of outsourced activities as well as Risk & Control Functions within TA

Operations. Job Background/ context:

The team is responsible for a number of back office functions within the Transfer Agency as well as oversight and management of a number of external vendors and other Citi locations who perform Transfer Agency functions on behalf of Citi Europe PLC. These functions include cash settlement, understanding of cash and share reporting, reconciliation of the TA shareholder accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate is required to have strong knowledge and practical experience of the following core TA processes:

•Cash settlement

•Bank account reconciliation of shareholder accounts

•Overview of bank account reconciliation completed by third party vendor

•Resolution and escalation of reconciliation queries

•Understanding of Cash and Share reporting

•Good order review of shareholder and distributor financial and non financial instructions

•European Clearing Houses and trading platforms e.g. Fundsettle, Euroclear, Vestima, EMX, AllFunds

•Review of fund prospectuses, operating memorandums and key fund documentation

•Fund launches

•Dividends processing

•Client conversions

•Vendor management

•Internal and external audits

•QC of TA reports, Daily/Weekly outstanding items reports

•Coordinate weekly meeting with all TA teams to discuss outstanding items

The candidate should have strong knowledge Transfer Agency functions and keen interest in managing staff, especially in the areas of coaching and development.

The candidate will be required to manage the daily responsibilities of the team but will also be expected to build an effective working relationship with and between the team members and to guide them in their tasks. They will be expected to have a strong analytical mind set to identify issues or inefficiencies within the team and to build a strong, controlled working environment.

The candidate will also be expected to focus on building relationships with the Citi TA vendors and other Citi locations who perform tasks on behalf of the Dublin TA and to a lesser extent with Citi TA clients. In acting as Transfer Agency Single Point of Contact for these vendors or other Citi locations, the successful candidate will require strong skill sets and experience in respect of:

•Acting as key relationship and escalation point for the vendors/other Citi locations across all TA functions, taking end to end responsibility for the TA relationship.

•Engage in proactive added value communication with the vendors/other Citi locations, and also conduct briefings within TA to build awareness across the teams.

•Supervise the Oversight of the outsourced processing pertaining to Transfer Agency activities

The role will also present opportunities for involvement in departmental and inter departmental initiatives which are outside the daily tasks performed by the team.

The candidate also needs to be able to work independently on projects or sub sets of projects and effectively represent TA.

The candidate should have approximately 4 years experience within the Transfer Agency operations or in a Transfer Agency support role e.g. Transfer Agency project management and should have been in a senior Administrator level for at least 2 years
