Function Background/Context:

Compliance proactively identifies, assesses, reports and mitigates compliance and reputational risks across business lines, products, legal entities and jurisdictions to the benefit of our franchise, customers and employees. Compliance sets standards, and uses an enterprise-wide compliance risk management approach in partnership with the business and other Global Functions to drive a strong culture of compliance and control, and support the principles of Responsible Finance. Job Purpose:

The incumbent will serve a key support position in the CPB AML Advisory function to ensure oversight of the TrustCiti Private Bank Trust business in relation to key AML related regulations, standards, and policies, and to provide ongoing AML advice to the business in tandem with other control functions. The role will cover all Trust offices in multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing relationships with key Trust stakeholders (business/country/control functions)

• Monitoring compliance with the Global, Trust, and CPB specific AML programs, policies and standards

• Assisting with the updating of CPB and Trust Policies, including updates necessary to ensure compliance with existing or new Global Standards

• Liaising with Audit and Regulators during inspections and assisting with resolution of audit findings

• Assisting with the design and successful implementation of a number of consent order related items against deadline and regulatory requirements

• Providing ongoing advice to the Trust business and other Compliance and Control functions in relation to AML requirements

• Providing support and driving consistency across existing Global Program and on Global AML initiatives (i.e., Enterprise Wide AML Risk Assessment, Global SPF review)

• Provide AML related input on new Business initiatives, new products, and/or client-related matters

• Review and escalate key AML issues and activities through day-to-day coordination with the business

• Liaise with GIU on investigations intersecting with Trust

• Producing and recording accurately key management information, committee materials, and documentary evidence for a range of AML team related activities

• Assisting the business in preparing for and addressing examinations and audits. The role will necessarily involve a degree of international travel; applicants must have a current passport and no restrictions on travelling to the following countries: USA, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Singapore, Jersey

The successful applicant will demonstrate a majority of the following abilities/experiences:

• Familiarity with Trust structures, business models, and laundering typologies/threats

• Understanding/familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and outputs

• Understanding/familiarity with sanctions requirements, PEP/SPF issues, and name screening solutions

• Understanding/familiarity with AML regulatory requirements in the following jurisdictions: USA, Jersey, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, Bahamas, UK

• Demonstrable experience in making risk based decisions on ML issues

• Experience in interaction with financial services regulator(s)

• Presentation skills


College/university education preferred, but an exceptional working track record will be deemed equally important.
