The Incoming Inspector is responsible for ensuring that materials and parts are adequately inspected and/or tested to ensure they meet specification and are fit for use.

The supply data aspect of the job involves ensuring the generation of a supply data document for finished products that conforms to customer requirements

Job Responsibilities:

(1) Incoming Inspecting

  • Functional expert for Incoming Inspection process; trouble-shoot issues on Oracle, give training and maintain procedures.

  • Ensure that all parts/ materials, which require incoming inspection, conform to all purchase order requirements and applicable drawings and specifications.

  • Generate NCRs for non-conforming product and segregate per established procedures.

  • Maintain the MRB cage for Incoming Inspection applicable parts.

  • Maintaining quality standards by visual and dimensional inspection of incoming materials in accordance with documented inspection procedures.

  • Read and understand/interpret drawings, specifications, and established operating procedures. Determine acceptance or rejection and re-work criteria.

  • Maintains quality records of conforming and nonconforming materials.

  • Maintain the STS system.

  • Develop the Incoming inspection area with changes in the business needs.

  • Any other duties as required

(2) Supply Data Administration

  • Functional expert for supply data reporting to customers

  • Ensure that the data being reported is conforming to the customer requirements

  • Maintain the supply data procedure

  • Any other duties as required.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good working knowledge of GMP practices

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Self-Motivated with an interest in Quality

  • Good Computer Skills (Word, Excel etc.)

  • Good technical ability

  • A quality/ technical qualification desired but not essential.
