Schneider Electric Pricing Manager - Systems in Galway, Ireland

Schneider Electric is the global specialist in energy management and automation. With revenues of €27 billion in FY2015, our 144,000+ employees serve customers in over 100 countries, helping them to manage their energy and process in ways that are safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable. From the simplest of switches to complex operational systems, our technology, software and services improve the way our customers manage and automate their operations. Our connected technologies reshape industries, transform cities and enrich lives.

We’re currently seeking a Pricing Manager to play a key strategic role with our Systems business (which is primarily focussed on data centres and is a vital part of our IT offering.) Based in Galway, but covering our European Operations zone, this job will involve undertaking financial and qualitative of our products (existing and new) in order to support operations and sales in delivering customised and competitive offerings to our customers. We’re a multinational, complex and fast paced business, and life here is never dull!

To do the job you’ll have an MBA or a good degree in a business related field, prior experience in a pricing management role (ideally including Value Based Pricing), and advanced Excel skills. You’ll clearly need to be a “numbers person”, but you’ll also have a high degree of business acumen in order to be able to support senior stakeholders in making important commercial decisions. You’ll also have to have operated in a complex, multinational environment.

It’s a great opportunity for you to work with some highly influential people (you’ll partner to senior VP level), across a broad range of departments. There’s also plenty of scope to progress your career, either into a more senior capacity in pricing or into a commercial function.
