The Project Manager (Product / Technology Transfers) has total ownership for the delivery of one or more complex mature product / technology transfers in line with business growth objectives and KPI’s whilst managing exceptional customer experiences and ensuring site to site consistency after the products are successfully transferred. The scope of the products / technologies will include mature product lines across the Medical Plant Network aswell as mature products within existing or new customers looking to outsource these products.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Manages global cross functional project team(s) aswell as extended teams within the Growth Engineering Function with responsibility for mature product / technology transfers (Not NPI).

  • Defines and manages all aspects of the execution of complex product / technology transfers utilizing PM processes from early stage planning through to operations handover

  • Lead product ramp readiness and seamless transfer to Operations ensuring that Supply Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations have capacity and capabilities in place to support product / technology ramp plans.

  • Lead the development of complex financial models, capital expenditure requests etc. for use by operations, commercial and finance leadership as it relates to specific product transfers.

  • In conjunction with Sales; manage the customer relationship and ensure customer deliverables are met per agreed project scope.

  • Implement Program Management tools (e.g. Gantt charts, critical path analyses, action item lists, etc.) to keep the efforts of Operations personnel integrated and on schedule.

  • Maintains and update KPI scorecard to track and monitor core KPI’s including key risks / opportunities, cost / benefit etc.

  • Lead all project communications, upward and downward through the organization; escalating key issues and present options for resolution to cross-functional executive and business teams.

  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or similar technical field, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven Project Management experience in Product Transfer / Technology /NPI.

  • Excellent communicator with a proven track record in negotiation and influencing.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational skills
