At our AskHR Department in Medtronic, plc, we focus on providing employees with a single point of contact for all of their HR questions and we support HR in the execution of core processes to ensure consistency, effectiveness and efficiency promoting use and adoption of our HR technology platforms. AskHR Representatives are directly involved in providing customers with accurate, consistent and timely responses to their questions and issues regarding HR transactional and technology needs, developing an in-depth understanding of the customer’s needs and engages with customers to ensure quality of response, contributes to the continuous development of knowledge base tools to provide consistent responses to customers, escalates cases in a timely way to appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Center of Expertise (COE) if functional expertise is required and promotes the use of self-help tools such as Workday and knowledge base to encourage customers to answer questions on their own
You will contribute to continuous improvement working with the HR Service Center team to achieve solutions/improvements for all processes/tasks performed in the HR Shared Service Center and pro-actively works on an efficient information flow between HR Partners and other parties. You will be responsible for systems administration, including administering and maintaining HR Information systems including Kronos, Workday, ServiceNow, MS SharePoint and other internal information systems. You will also act as the technical point of contact for all HR systems including addressing user queries as a member of AskHR. You will also maintain content on local site builder website including processing of change requests from the HR team. You will partner with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll administration through HRIS interfaces and you will also support the implementation of HR system related projects both planned and on an adhoc basis including the processing of annual leave updates, changes to policies and other technical projects that arise. You will support data integrity through the monitoring of data on all HR systems through developing auditing tools and robust processes to support data integrity initiatives. This may include producing data uploads and undertaking data cleansing projects as required.
We are looking for a candidate qualified to degree level 8 in Human Resources or Information systems discipline . 1-3 years relevant experience is desirable but is not a specific requirement for this role. You are a dynamic team player with an interest in further developing within an international HR Shared Service environment and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
You will demonstrate critical thinking, ability to collaborate and create alignment, generate ideas and set high standards focusing on the customer whilst fostering diversity inclusion in everything that you do.
You are a strong problem solver with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. You like to work in a team environment and can also work using your own initiative. You have strong attention to detail and have a technical aptitude possessing strong computer skills such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
