EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Within the Centre of Expertise (CoE) our job is to help our customers run better and support End-to-End SAP implementations. As a CoE employee you will have the opportunity to apply and improve experience in the following areas:

  • Onsite and Remote customer service and implementation project delivery

  • Customer solution scoping and deployment using SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions in your functional or technical area of expertise

  • Development of functional RDS packages based on specific requirements

  • Perception and navigation beyond key functional area with understanding of integration between different SAP modules.

  • Design of specific software requirements within your application area

  • Analysis of business requirements and gaps in customer solutions

  • Building software prototypes for customers using latest SAP innovations (e.g. HANA, BI, Cloud)

  • Application of extensive programming skills in real customer implementation or engineering projects to develop innovative solutions or customer enhancements to meet business requirements or to improve overall business process performance

  • Applying Design Thinking or other innovative methodologies in solving customer problems or designing solutions

  • Applying software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) during internal and external projects

  • Delivery of Engineering services (One Service, Integration Validation, Rapid Prototyping, Zero Modification) to ensure customer value realization

  • Delivery of Assessment and Optimization services and supporting critical Escalations primarily in the Americas region (US and Latin America) and in other regions globally

  • BackOffice support for critical issue resolution in your functional or technical area of expertise

  • Act as Liaison for critical customers, accepting responsibility for effective and proactive solution or system management and issue resolutionWe are looking for candidates seeking constant challenges in a dynamic environment, creative and not afraid of stretching the limits of their knowledge. WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Successful track record of implementing/supporting IS Retail with experience in one or more of the following;

  • Retail Master Data

  • SAP Point of Sale Data Management

  • Pricing and Promotions

  • Forecasting and Replenishment

  • Merchandising and Assortment Planning

  • Purchasing - MM

  • Requirements Planning - PP

  • Inventory management and / or Warehouse Management

  • Finance and controlling

  • Strong Retail industry background

  • Good understanding of SAP’s product roadmap for Retail

  • Able to lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders to identify business requirements and define system strategies and design solutions

  • Knowledge of SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) will be a plus Complex deployment experience (e.g. global roll-out)

  • Knowledge in SAP AFS and FMS on top will be plus

  • Experience with ABAP Object-Oriented programming and debugging skills, ABAP Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs

  • IMS/Development/ consulting experience will be an added advantage.

  • Experience with applying Rapid Deployment Solution in functional areas

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Graduated with an Honours Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Physics/Mathematics/Engineering or related discipline

  • Excellent customer focus, teamwork as project member / lead and communication skills (oral/written) is must

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
