Job Description:

Validates data for accurate information from Physical audits Adds, moves and changes in Network path designs in the systems for inventory purposes Respond to other departments for information requests Creates updates and removes network path designs in the system based on the physical audit information and reconciliation issues through reports from bad panel fallout. Analyses network path designs to perform audits to help maintain data integrity for Google POP Patch panels, racks and cables in Double Helix and Netcracker Creates tickets for MAD team to investigate issues that require physical inspection on site for retrieval of information which may require photographs, handover documentation, layout diagrams to populate information in Netcracker, Double Helix and Chipmunk. Creates, Maintains and shares Google drive spreadsheets to track workload and information Updates and/or corrects network paths in the inventory system based on audit and/or data reconciliation activities. Facilitates desktop audits to identify & fix Data Integrity Issues between Systems and Coordinate Fixes. Reconciles the Physical Site Audit data against Network Inventory Tools, as needed. Utilizes network inventory database system to accurately document MMR spaces, Patch Panels and Racks including documenting specific attributes related to these patch panels and cabling infrastructure. Works with local resources, and or vendors to clarify and/or facilitate an audit of the data in order to establish accuracy Manages cradle-to-grave implementation activities to meet aggressive deadlines Lead discussions with carriers and external customers, work closely with internal departments, and document tickets in status tracking database. Protects account and organization's value by keeping information confidential. Qualifications: Skills Needed:

Minimum 3 years of Telecommunications / Network Provisioning (preferably with a Telecommunications / Communications Services company). Good English written/verbal communication and customer engagement skills Full computer literacy, including fluency with computers and software such as email, spreadsheets, etc. Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills Strong focus on providing an outstanding user experience. Strong Knowledge of cabling infrastructure, fiber cabling, connector types, optical distribution frames, splice trays, patch panels, various vendor’s naming conventions Experience with inventory database systems such as Netcracker and Granite Some experience with fiber network planning, design and deployment Familiarity with DSL, Ethernet, Peering, IP Transit, Dark Fiber and Wavelengths Auditing and site surveying experience preferred Capable of managing high pressure and short timelines, with the willingness to be flexible Ability to interface effectively with 3rd party vendors and suppliers Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to changing projects and processes Ability to work independently and also in a team environment

Patch Panel Audit - Audit the correctness of Network Path Design based on Google standard format/syntax

Decommissioning of Ports & Contracts

Pathfile Reconciliation - Ensuring that Network Path Designs are updated in the Inventory System

Pre-Migration & Post-Migration - Moving of either port and or Network Path from one location to another.
