Baxter Customer Service Rep in Leinster, Ireland

SUMMARY

The Homecare Customer Services Representative is responsible to provide support to Pharmacy and Homecare customers, to whom Baxter provide critical therapies and healthcare products. The role will involve developing strong customer relations with hospitals, health boards and patients, supporting the Sales team and liaising with Compounding Production, Warehouse & Distribution, Logistics and Finance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES


The Compounding Customer Services Representative is accountable and responsible for the following activities:

§ Prioritising and processing prescription orders for customers/patients

§ Managing orders to facilitate capacity available

§ Maintain accurate and current customer information, including current prices as submitted by the Area Business Manager(s), in the relevant order entry system

§ Answering queries that are raised by customers

§ Providing information concerning customers to Sales and the relevant Operations Dept. and to liaise with Sales to ensure that the best service is provided to customers

§ Obtaining order numbers from Health Boards/Hospitals when required

§ Liaising with internal departments e.g. Warehouse & Distribution/Thetford/ Compounding Unit Dublin & Sales to ensure that the highest quality service is delivered to home patients

§ Logging complaints from customers in a central database and where appropriate, taking responsibility for ensuring that complaints are addressed and resolved

§ Following up on POD’s for patients

§ Liasing with accounts receivable regarding billing, POD’s/order numbers, credit/debits if required

§ Developing a high level of knowledge about Baxter Homecare therapies and products

§ Provide back-up support to other product areas

§ Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as applicable

§ Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

§ Proven experience in a customer focused environment

§ Experience working in a team based environment
