Position: International Financial Accountant

Job Purpose:

The job incumbent will play a key role in supporting McKesson operations in Ireland, creating and sustaining good working relationships with McKesson operations both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

· Complete month end activities for various McKesson entities with specific focus on McKesson’s Generic sourcing partnership with Walmart

· Work closely with customers to support decision making by providing trends and cost analysis

· Review the month end files for various McKesson entities and report to Controller

· Complete the statutory financial statements for various McKesson entities

· Provide support for statutory audits of Irish Companies and Holding Companies. Interact with the independent auditors and internal auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements

· Lead & support projects within the Finance Group

· Develop strong working relationships with colleagues locally and various Business Units

· Contribute to continuous process improvement and standardization

· Ad hoc responsibilities to assist in the continued expansion of the Finance Shared Services team

· Adhere to McKesson Ireland Health and Safety Standards

· Adhere to McKesson Ireland Quality Standards

· Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities

Qualified Accountant


· At least 2 years post qualified experience

· Beneficial to have multinational experience
