Rathmore is a processing plant producing chocolate crumb - A key raw material in the chocolate making process. We blend raw materials including milk and coco beans provide the manufacturing capability to provide the “glass and half mile in every…….” As part of of our finished product. We are part of the integrated supply chain for the company and we ship our finished goods from the plant into the internal supply chain in Ireland as well as to international customers . we have been in operation since 1948 in this location. In this role you will assist in delivering engineering projects and perform tasks to assist in delivering maintenance activities.
Apply structured problem solving, lean principals, and best practice process development to drive product and process improvement.
Actively participate among cross-functional teams.
Effectively report performance metrics so they are visible, accurate, timely, and can be understood by people at all levels of the organisation.
Develop/update CAD drawings for services/processes on site.
Actively work with engineering team on asset management journey, such as helping develop asset register, stores management system, and pricing of critical assets.
Work on aspects of engineering projects identified as key drivers to business improvement.
Hands on roll in actively implementing 5S programme in maintenance department.
Develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of crumb manufacture"
Drive for results
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of working on projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, task prioritisation and creativity. "
