The Corporate Real Estate (CRES) organisation is designed to align existing service delivery around a geographical model to build strong geographical accountability and provide clear definition and alignment between real estate and facilities management services. The strategic focus for CRES will be on managing Diageo's real estate portfolio and supplier base in a way that best aligns to business priorities and drives out opportunities to improve performance, enhance value and generate cost savings.

Purpose of the Role

This role is part of a team that is focused on developing a future strategy for St. James Gate.

We are looking for an energetic dynamic individual with real passion and flair who will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of programme activities, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, CRES, Procurement etc.) and external advisory teams.

Top 3 Accountabilities

  1. Lead on the execution of associated projects

  2. Support the program director in the delivery of the strategy through brilliant execution.

  3. Lead and support as appropriate on functional advice, e.g. property, facilities, financial, costs analysis, commercial and negotiation support.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Experience & knowledge

  • Excellent Project Management Skills. ( 5 years )

  • Experience in and / or a good understanding of Diageo or comparable organisations (e.g. consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals)

  • Significant and proven leadership / management experience

  • Degree educated (with relevant commercial or management subjects)

  • Degree qualified and ideally hold a project mgmt. qualification or be ACCA certified.

  • Ideally have some Commercial Experience or Finance skills and or experience in real estate management.
