Guinness Storehouse is Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction and a \"must see\" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, our visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous beer.

Guinness Storehouse welcomed over 1.6 million visitors in 2016 and has a key role to play in the Guinness Global Brand agenda. The seven-storey brand experience includes the Guinness flagship retail store, restaurant and bar facilities, a high profile event space, Guinness company archives and Diageo’s alcohol responsibility zone all which aim to provide the ultimate visitor experience. Employing over 200 people and using a host of systems to support the different business functions, the Guinness Storehouse is a challenging customer facing environment.

We are looking to recruit an experienced reservations assistant to join the reservations team.

The purpose of the role is to act as a Guinness Ambassador to all visitors who contact Guinness Storehouse and deliver excellent customer focus and first class standards and service every day.

This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract

The successful candidate will have the following:

•Hotel or Central Reservations background (with back office reservations experience)

•A working knowledge of FIT /Tour Operator Reservations & Group Reservations

•Must be standards driven and detail orientated

•Excellent command of both written and spoken English

•Must be a team player with the ability to multi task

•Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

•Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Be enthusiastic, energetic & have a passion for customer service and the delivery of excellent customer experiences

This role involves:

•Handling inbound reservations telephone calls in line with company standards of service

•Responding to the main enquiry inbox, responding to booking requests and visitor queries in a timely and appropriate manner

•Diary management of internal and external visitor experience group & VIP bookings

•Liaising with internal departments - Admissions, Sales, Finance, Operations

•Building relationships with operators ensuring the co-ordination of all tour operator bookings is handled in a timely fashion

•Handling 3rd party invoicing with the Finance Team

•Responding to all customer feedback including through social media channels

•Supporting and assisting with any ad hoc duties as requested by the reservations / Revenue manager
