We believe the most important is the opportunity to do your life’s best work.(sm) Positions in this function are responsible for investigating, recovering and resolving the overpayment of business to business (B2B) health insurance claims. This position handles the overpaid claim portfolio through telephone contact with the overpaid provider, which includes physicians, hospitals, labs, etc. Staff will research, discuss and follow up on a claim overpayment to achieve resolution via provider payment or offsetting / contra agreement. Individuals should have a positive and confident telephone manner with an ability to achieve objectives whilst building strong relationships with the providers.

Strict adherence to U.S.

state and federal compliance regulations, reimbursement policies, and contract compliance is also required. Shifts: flexibility to work operational hours across the times below is required: Mon-Thurs 1pm GMT - 12 Midnight GMT Friday 1pm - 7pm GMT This will be based in our Letterkenny, Donegal office. Required Qualifications: Solid experience of working in a role with financial and/or customer experience related targets Strong telephone communication, time management and negotiation skills Resilience, ability to overcome objections Ability to influence outcomes and promote positive relations in a business to business (B2B) international environment Good process and systems aptitude Preferred Qualifications: Experience in business to business (B2B) debt collections; accounts payable; sales or customer service Experience working in a high volume call centre environment End to end claims experience; specific to healthcare or insurance Intermediate excel (IT) skills UNet / Cosmos or NICE platform experience Internal UHG claims experience Careers with Optum.
