Xilinx is currently looking for talented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and forward-thinking Financial Analysts to join its expanding finance team in Dublin. The Dublin office is well established and currently manages corporate finance, EMEA shared services, Accounts payable, corporate taxation and is now expanding to include 4 new positions in Global Financial Planning and Budgeting. Responsibilities for the new team will include Annual budget forecasting preparation and quarterly updates along with KPI's and business partnering. This is a new and exciting development for the Dublin office and successful candidates may have opportunities to rotate within the Dublin office or overseas at later dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure business managers have timely and relevant information required for effective planning and control of the business.

  • Analyse spending variances to tight deadlines at month end.

  • Reporting of key cost drivers to business owners on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

  • Partner with Business Unit Leaders with regard to the ongoing development of their financial knowledge and the preparation of monthly financial projections.

  • Work with the Business Units to ensure internal controls are working effectively.

  • Participate in cross functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives and drive standardisation of operating procedures.

  • Drive process changes in the Finance area including opportunities to automate compilation activities to ensure the provision of timely and relevant information to key business owners.

  • Drive data integrity with the Business Units and Finance.

  • Actively contribute as part of the Finance Team to setting and achieving the team’s goals and objectives.

Core Competencies:

  • Degree Qualified with 2 years’ experience in a finance function, ideally with FP&A; experience.

  • Commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams.

  • Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organization.

  • Strong research and analytical expertise, along with insightful analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated competency to support projects in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and other project tools.

  • Desirable – Excel skills at advanced level.
