Job SummaryWe are now looking for a Parts Demand Planner to join the team at Sandvik Mining & Construction. As a Parts Demand Planner you will be part of the Parts Global Planning team and the location is flexible. You will be responsible to review, adjust and validate the monthly parts demand plan, using the inventory planning system and will work with regional inventory and sales teams. You will mainly be responsible for reviewing and cleansing the parts demand history data and collating parts sale forecasts including any adjustments. You will conduct validation of monthly demand plans with key stakeholders, including Regional Inventory and Material Management teams. Key deliverables are to review and adjust demand data during the month when necessary, support transfer orders and purchase orders root cause analysis, when needed. Simulate demand planning scenarios when needed and perform demand planning master data management. Specifically, this role includes reporting monthly forecast accuracy, conducting deep dives to understand performance and develop, agree and implement performance improvement plans.

Your profileYou will need to have expertise in Demand Planning and Inventory Management. Proficient in data analysis, data management and root cause analysis, along with problem solving and performance improvement.

Focused on results, pragmatic and structured with strong business and customer acumen. You must be proficient in Microsoft office, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with good working knowledge of English. Experience of Supply Chain Management, specifically in Demand Planning is essential and a APICS certificate would be an advantage.
