A Day in the Life

·You will analysethe market place, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and present the strategy to management to include Catheter Based Therapies Management to gain approval for implementation.

·You will be performing all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation.

·You will monitor and secure that all accounts receive targeting and coverage according to management guidelines.

·Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and report on them to the Country Manager.

·You will strive to further develop the CBT business in existing accounts and seek the introduction of Medtronic CBT products to new accounts.

·It is key that you build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process, and identify and prepare upcoming tenders.

·You will attend and participate in key professional congresses and events as required.

·You will provide clinical implant support to the clinical team in theatre/Cath lab, including support of pre-op case planning (including sizing support through use of 3Mensio), loading of the valve bioprosthesis, intra-op technical guidance and recommendations in-line with Medtronic best-practices, the post-op review process, etc.

·It is essential that you conduct and monitor asset management of consignment and all other stock levels according to business guidelines.

·You willthoroughly understand and sell the indications and supporting evidence for the CBT Therapies to interventional radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

·You will have direct sales responsibilities for the defined territory

·Communicate divisional marketing messages to customers as fed through Swiss HQ and local marketing.

·Participate and support clinical procedures on own territory and on occasion be willing to support colleagues in other regions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

·Proven ability in Sales and in growing a business generally.

·Proven ability in being able to demonstrate clinically expertise with medical devices products and job holder will be required to pass clinical based exams.

·Demonstrated tract record of sales (3 to 5 years), preferably in the surgical/cardiology industry within medical devices

·Ability to move in a Cath Lab session and be familiar with specific requirements in this environment - Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others.

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish good working relationships with a wide range of customers.

·Advanced presentation and negotiation skills. Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

·Product launch, territory planning and forecasting experience a plus.

·Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills

·Good IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools.

·Sales driven, business minded and with an entrepreneurial spirit.

·A good listener to colleagues of different levels with an ability to understand and to execute plans.

·A service-oriented team player concerned with helping people, both internally and externally.
