Within our tax practice, our Transaction Tax Team offers bespoke tax diligence and structuring solutions to our clients. Working with large corporates and private equity investors, we deliver value through our transactional expertise and our dedication to finding the solution that best fits our clients’ needs. This is a great opportunity to join a growing tax team with opportunities for progression for the right candidate.
What will I be doing?
Working as part of a team, your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for proactive management of tax due diligence work streams for clients.
Assisting clients with both pre and post-acquisition structuring.
Assisting in the provision of advice to clients on a range of tax advisory projects.
Liaising with clients and Revenue.
Developing relationships within the firm to build a strong network.
Identifying and developing business opportunities to generate growth within the firm.
Demonstrate technical excellence and a practical / business driven approach.
Mentoring and developing more junior members
What do we look for?
Requirements for prospective candidates include:
Relevant legal, accounting and/or taxation qualification.
4-5 years’ experience working in tax. Experience working with transactions or in the tax practice of a law firm would be beneficial but not required.
High level of technical competence.
Excellent team leader and player- ability to integrate and build effective relationships at all levels.
Ability to build strong client relationships.
Client focused and commercially aware.
Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
Project management skills, ability to plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines.
