The Role

Joining the Mid-Market Inside Sales team based in Symantec provides an opportunity for you to further enhance your career within Sales Leadership and with a company that leads the way in terms of technology within the realm of Cyber Security.

As the Associate Inside Sales Manager, it will be your main function to lead an Inside Sales team of 8 to 12 people who will generate new business and manage a full sales cycle on behalf of Symantec. Your main aim is to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within a given territory

It will also be your duty to create, implement, measure and review the strategic and operational places that drive achievement of the business’ goals. You will identify and pursue opportunities to expand business activities within your territory and control the expense associated with doing so. You will establish working relationships with the external parties that support the achievement of success and be conversant with the systems and procedures in place to ensure conformance with standard business practices.

Through resource management, you will ensure an appropriate balance of skills across your team to deliver expected results. You will work collaboratively with other leaders to acquire additional specialist resources where necessary. When required you will provide customer escalation management for problem resolution.

As Associate Inside Sales Manager, you will drive initiatives that result in improved customer satisfaction. In collaboration with others, you will identify and implement best practice policies, process and tools, acting as a role model within your team and Symantec.

  • Leverage and support internal and external influencers (Marketing, IPS, Support, Engineering, System Integrators, Channel Partners)

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, both 1 to 1 and to large groups
