Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Financial Analytics)
Primary Function / Goals / Objectives
This position has responsibility for all Cost Improvement Projects in the areas of Financial and Strategic Planning, Executing, Resourcing, Budgeting, and Reporting that support the overall financial results of the site.
This position will manage all assigned projects and programmes to timely completion and deliver cost improvements utilising financial data analytics and project management expertise.
Projects will include development of a rolling 2-3yr roadmap of success, local project management and Abbott Nutrition MVS (Cost Improvement) work stream project governance.
This position contributes to an environment of effective financial management, effective project management and effective resource utilisation in accordance with all Abbott compliance standards.
This position interacts with site senior leadership, has a dotted line to Abbott Nutrition MVS work stream manager.
Responsible for execution of Cost Improvement Projects by incorporating strategic planning, operational budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting activities.
Run effective and efficient project management processes to drive good work prioritisation and resource allocation decisions.
Manage project resources to achieve project deliverables and provide regular project updates to Sponsor, Key Stakeholders and Steerage.
Reviews all levels of Financial forecast variances to identify areas for action and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
Document and track activities, scope changes and lessons learned
May be asked to lead multiple projects depending on project scope, project portfolio and business needs.
Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategies impacting the mfg site.
Identify cross-functional needs from the mfg site and align with the MVS Division leads for implementation of initiatives.
Support other project needs at the mfg site as directed from Site Management.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This position will assume responsibility for the successful management of the MVS Program or projects at the Cootehill site and will be required to be:

Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and managerial presence to effectively lead the organization through project definition and execution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a vital part of this role in order to navigate the landscape of having multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organisation expecting high quality and timely service. Must demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency and prioritise independently.
Have ability to provide clear direction and define priorities.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering, Finance or Business) is required or 10+ years of manufacturing, financial or quality operations experience. Knowledge
Proven Financial Data Analytics experience and ability to articulate.
Demonstrate End to End project management experience of a diverse array of projects.
Candidates should have 10+ years of experience across the areas of financial analysis, manufacturing operations, manufacturing support systems, quality operations, project management, or continuous improvement functions.
Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Research and Development, Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified with Minitab or equivalent is preferable.
