The successful candidate will be part of the Inventory Controllership & Operations team is part of the Global Operations Finance team within Dells Finance function. It is a global team. We depend on the innovation and collaboration of our people to provide excellent finance support that will drive Dells business forward. The truly global nature of this team fosters a dynamic and challenging environment. Working with several different functions to support our business.

Primary functions of the group are:

  • Reconciling & Reporting on Worldwide Inventory

  • Ensuring adequate internal controls and analysis are in place and monitored appropriately

  • Working with Planning & Manufacturing on Quarterly Excess & Obsolete Provision

  • Providing support to Accounting for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Forecasting Inventory by bucket on a quarterly basis

  • Providing Lease Credits to DFS

  • Directing the integration of new products and offerings into OTC accounting processes

  • Initiating improvements to ensure consistent and efficient OTC accounting processes worldwide Additional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for SOX/PWC/GAT

  • Ensure compliance of Inventory transactions with Dell’s stated policies and procedures

  • Supporting Accounting team in Penang

  • Proactive Involvement in system development, enhancements and testing

  • Participation on numerous cross-functional projects to enable innovation and change

  • Instrumental in the continuous improvement of the group’s activities Qualifications/Work Experience · Qualified Accountant· Third level business qualification· 3+ Years Business Experience
