Role: Revenue Support Analyst
Location: Ballincollig, Cork, Ireland
Reporting to: Deal Assurance Team Manager
The Support Analyst will be a member of the revenue accounting team, reporting to the Deal Assurance Team manager and will provide support for the Global Revenue team. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to experience working in a dynamic team, to understand the requirements for Revenue Recognition for a publicly quoted company and to experience working in a large multinational company.
Maintain the Monthly Purchase Summary Files on a Global Basis
Support the Global Revenue Team to ensure SOX compliance with the large deal review thresholds and deadlines for deal reviews for financial close
Install Base Validation
License Fulfillment Validation
Prepare Deal Reviews up to a certain value threshold and responsibility for the accounting system (revStream 5x) review of same
Vendor Specific Objective Evidence (VSOE) / Fair Value Analysis
Assist with other accounting projects/areas as necessary
Proven multinational experience in an Analytical role
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people in varying locations and times zones; strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Solid PC skills with Intermediate/Advanced level Excel skills.
Ability to work flexible hours at quarter end to support the different time zones.
Experience with software revenue recognition principles under US GAAP / IFRS would be a definite advantage for this position
