First Data Business Analyst in Dublin, Ireland
First Data are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team based in Dublin, Ireland.
As Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain models for various business applications. Includes data gathering & statistical analysis, model development & enhancements, ongoing maintenance, etc. Understand current business procedures, problems with those current procedures, and recommend possible solutions that use predictive modelling technology. This includes data gathering and exploration, research into current industry trends, and what competitors might be doing.
The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs of OmniPay’s clients. The BA will then ensure that the requirements are accurately documented allowing OmniPay’s technical teams implement the defined solution. The BA will initially be working on smaller projects allowing them to gain valuable experience of OmniPay and First Data platforms with the intention of ultimately working on complex projects including boarding new acquiring clients onto the OmniPay platform.
Identifying and supporting the business case of each project. Interpreting a project and the client’s requirements and evaluating all the options to identify potential solutions. Examining existing business models and flows of data, discussing findings with First Data colleagues and acquiring client. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: Business Requirements and Solution documents, Functional Specification Documents, System Impact Document. Design the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Previous Business Analysis experience is essential
A technical understanding of IT Infrastructure would be beneficial
Proven ability to write business requirements and solution documents
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience;
Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
Good stakeholder management skills and ability to build and manage client and customer relationships.
