Department Overview

Dublin Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing a range of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients. Team/Position Overview

The purpose of the role is to work as a Customer Service Specialist for the Direct Custody Asset Servicing Client Service team, ensuring the provision of a first class Asset Servicing service to all Direct Custody Clients. Role requires strong customer focus and commercial awareness.

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for the day to day management of Asset Servicing related Customer queries. You will be part of a dynamic team of 17 subject matter experts who take ownership of Citi’s client experience in this space, and you will be required to manage queries within tight deadlines, providing high quality responses, and building highly effective relationships with a number of sophisticated Broker Dealer and Investment Manager customers.

Core hours 09:00 to 17:30 with extra hours worked as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

•Respond to Client Enquiries in relation to Income / Corp actions queries

•Manage corporate actions relationship with clients

•Act as a direct point of contact for internal and external senior client representatives

•Accurately capture MIS and process client information packs for distribution to clients at each month end

•Educate clients in respect of understanding Citi’s proprietary systems / market Practices

•Liaise with processing unit to highlight common issues and recommended procedural changes or system enhancements

•Participate in regular client service calls and represent the department at client meetings and visits


Experience and Skills:

•Good analytical / multitasking / organisational skills with high level of attention to detail

•Strong influencing ability

•Ability to anticipate potential follow up enquiries

•Strong computer skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Client relationship management experience

•Custody background / knowledge required
