What you’ll be doing…

As a Cloud Operations Analyst / Service Operations Center Analyst, you will proactively monitor production and pre-production environments within our 24x7 SaaS/Hosted business, resolving immediate issues according to run books and documented processes.

You will drive incident management during planned and unplanned outages ensuring resolution, escalation, and communication processes are followed.

After your initial on-boarding and training period, the work pattern for this role, will include every weekend but on a four day per week basis from 6am - 4pm

Some of the things you'll be working on include…

  • Provide 24x7/365 rotational support of production systems & services

  • Respond to monitoring alerts and issues across a variety of cloud services.

  • Manage technical issues and escalations.

  • Manage communication between stakeholders and engineers during global incidents.

  • Consult with teams to ensure reliable detection and auto-remediation of their services.

  • Contribute to the next generation of monitoring and alerting requirements and systems.

Who are you…

  • Experienced. Experience in a Server Operation Center (SOC), Network Operation Center (NOC), IT Operations, Helpdesk, or a Technical Support role. Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Domain. You have working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows Server. You have practical experience with databases, server applications and infrastructure architecture. Practical coding/scripting experience, preferably in python. ITIL Foundations certification is desirable.

  • Service Minded. You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence.

  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.

  • Performer. You can easily work independently, exercise good judgment, and apply specialized knowledge to a variety of situations. You're extremely detail-oriented. You also work well as part of a team
