We support the organization through the delivery of automation solutions, using existing, new and emerging technologies to enhance savings, improve productivity and quality and reduce cost. The Director for Payment Integrity Automation is responsible for overseeing the programs, projects and initiatives for the Automation team.

This position is involved in the daily operations to the extent needed to deploy automation projects and initiatives in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner. This role will be also responsible for the development and implementation of new automation strategies as well as the maintenance and expansion of existing programs to achieve corporate savings goals for all medical cost savings and cost reduction and avoidance programs.

In addition, forecasting, planning and tracking resource impacts from projects will be required. Primary Responsibilities: Leadership and development of the Global PI Robotic Process Automation (RPA) delivery management teams Ensure the successful deployment of Automation solutions to the Payment Integrity business within a timely, accurate, compliant and cost effective manner Defining and implementing the Payment Integrity automation vision, strategy, operating model and capability development Maintenance and expansion of existing automation programs to achieve corporate savings goals for all medical cost savings, cost avoidance programs and FTE (Full Time Equivalent) Savings Management of a Automation governance framework/ practices for delivery Managing and reporting on automation projects and benefit realization to leadership Responsibility for change management and communication to key business stakeholders and leadership Championing automation across the business and build and retain a team of experienced professionals with the capabilities to deliver the Automation Strategy Ensure compliance with all state and federal rules and meet all regulatory reporting requirements where applicable Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience Extensive experience leading large business projects Significant management experience (project or business teams) Considerable experience working with different automation technologies including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Knowledge and experience of managing business change in complex multi-line of business organizations Experience working with senior executives / leadership and presenting new processes and recommendations Ability to analyze and translate data to determine financial impact and develop recommendations for action plans Ability to review financial data and translate financial metrics for initiative prioritization Well-organized with good communication and reporting skills Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Health Insurance industry Strong Reporting / Analytics skillset Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook Experience working in a global, matrixed environment Careers with Optum.
